Yahrzeit Memorial Plaque in Sanctuary

A yahrzeit is the annual commemoration of the anniversary of a loved one’s death and is a traditional act of remembrance.

Should you have a loved one you want added to Temple Israel's Memorial Wall in the Sanctuary, please complete the form below.

Temple Israel displays a permanent wall of remembrance in our sanctuary, providing an ever-present tribute to important people in our lives. Your donation and dedication of a Yahrzeit plaque helps perpetuate the memory of a loved one. Each year, we remember them at our four Yizkor services and annually on their yahrzeit by including their name(s) during Kaddish.

Each plaque will include the name and you may choose to list the date or year of both their birth and death or choose only their date of death according to both the Gregorian and Hebrew calendars. Please review other plaques in the sanctuary to determine your preference.

Donation per plaque: $500

“The souls of the righteous live on in those who cherish their memories.”
