May We Help You? We provide
INTEREST-FREE loans to Jewish people in the Bay Area to meet a
variety of personal and financial needs. Loan categories include:
Emergency, Personal, Student, First-time Home Buyer, Debt
Consolidation, Life Cycle, Business, Adoption, Institutional and
Special Needs. Since Hebrew Free Loan began in 1897, more than 50,000 families in
the Bay Area have received assistance. Each year, HFLA helps over
350 people achieve their goals and pave the way toward greater
financial health and future success. Through interest-free loans, we offer people a helping hand,
rather than a handout. It
is central to our mission that each person be treated with dignity
and respect. All information is kept confidential.
