Host Families are needed for International Students arriving for high school 5 and 10 month stays.  These students are 15-18 years of age. Share their culture, their friendship and learn about part of the world from a new family member. Open your heart and home and share our American way of life.

AIPAC EAST BAY ANNUAL DINNER

Be a part of the largest annual pro-Israel political event in the East Bay.  AIPAC’s Annual  East Bay  Dinner, to be held on Monday, Dec. 17, 2007 at 6:00 PM at the Oakland Marriott City Center, 1001  Broadway in Oakland.  Join Keynote speakers Howard Kohr, AIPAC’s National Executive Director, Dr. Daniel Gordis, Senior Vice President and Senior Fellow at the Shalem Center, and over 1,000 community leaders, elected officials, activists, and students to discuss the latest developments in Washington, D.C. and in the Middle east.  Cost is $85.00/person.  To register for the event, please either visit http://www.aipac.org/NorCalEvents/ or call the AIPAC office at 415-989-4140. 

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee is the only American organization sanctioned by the entire American Jewish Community to lobby Congress about legislation  that strengthens the relationship between the United States  and Israel.  AIPAC is a non-partisan, membership-based organization supported entirely by private donations.
